2. A Project
A Project is a temporary endeavor undertaken
to create a unique Product, Service or Result.
3. A Program
A Program is a collection of related projects that
are dependent on each other.
A program may have one or more projects
4. A Portfolio
A portfolio is a collection of projects or
programs managed together in order to gain a
business benefit.
A portfolio will address strategic goals of the organization
5. Functional Manager
Functional Manager is responsible for a specific
function of an organization, such as Finance,
Customer Success, Sales, or Human Resources.
6. Operations Manager
Operations Manager manages 'ongoing' activity
of an organization.
Examples?
• IT team of a company manages IT Operations
• A catering service serving food to patients in a
hospital
9. Stakeholder
A person or organization that is actively involved
in the project, or whose interests may be
positively or negatively affected by the project.
