STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
1- Be known by all Project Management stakeholders in Cameroun:
PMI members, Project professionals, Companies, Training providers,
Universities & colleges (with PM curricula), authorities.
2- Show the value of PM & Chapter in particular for each
segment of target: Companies, Public sector, Government,
Academic, Communities: Have a key actor presently working
in this field.
3- Get sponsorships / establish partnerships onsite:
Propose promotional sponsor packages for companies.
4- Sell services: register members, sell PMI books &
gadgets.

1. IDENTIFY SESSION LEADER/FACILITATOR & SCRIBE/PRESENTER.
2. INTRODUCE SESSION TOPIC.
3. BEGIN BRAINSTORMING - STRUCTURED OR UNSTRUCTURED.
4. RECORD ALL IDEAS (SO THE LIST IS VISIBLE TO GROUP IF POSSIBLE).
5. CONTINUE UNTIL INPUT DIMINISHES OR BECOMES REPETITIVE.
6. COMBINE SIMILAR IDEAS AND REFINE THE LIST.
7. USE ANOTHER TECHNIQUES TO SORT, CATEGORIZE & PRIORITIZE.

ANNEX2: NOMINAL GROUP RANKING
MERITS
 FOR TEAMS WITH LONG LISTS OF ITEMS.
 USES MULTI-VOTING TECHNIQUE TO ESTABLISH RANKING.
APPROACH
1. GENERATE LIST OF IDEAS USING BRAINSTORMING OR OTHER METHOD.
2. ASSIGN INDIVIDUAL PREFERENCES TO EACH IDEA AS FOLLOWS.
FOR X=14 IDEAS, ASSIGN “X” (i.e. 14) TO FAVORITE IDEA & "1" TO LEAST FAVORITE.
3. SUM THE INDIVIDUAL RANKING ORDER SCORES FOR EACH IDEA.
4. SORT THE LIST BY SCORE IN DESCENDING ORDER.
5. REVIEW ANY SIGNIFICANT VARIANCES IN INDIVIDUAL RANKINGS.

ANNEX3: DELPHI NARROWING TECHNIQUE
MERITS
 FAST SOLUTION FOR TEAMS WITH LONG LISTS OF IDEAS.
 MULTI-VOTING TECHNIQUE TO NARROW LIST TO PREFERENCE IDEAS.
APPROACH
1. GENERATE LIST OF IDEAS USING BRAINSTORMING OR OTHER METHOD.
2. PICK INDIVIDUAL PREFERRECES USING THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES:
• 15 - 25 ideas: 5 Choices
• 10 - 15 ideas: 4 Choices
• 5 - 10 ideas: 3 Choices
3. CONSOLIDATE CHOSEN SOLUTIONS INTO A COMBINED MASTER LIST.
4. SUM THE NUMBER OF RESPONSES FOR EACH IDEA ON THE LIST.
5. CIRCLE/RANK SOLUTIONS HAVING STRONGEST SUPPORT INDICATIONS.
