3. This is a draft of my design for the
table of contents page. I’ve decided
to have the images come across in a
circular shape as I thought it would
be eye-catching and interesting
towards the reader. However, I feel
that would change. Moreover, I’ve
included my editorial pillars and
what sort of layout I would want
my page numbers to appear on.
Moreover, I’ve included the colour
of the background I wanted. I plan
on keeping this background white
as I intend to keep the theme of
white/black/blue and red; just like
the front cover image.
4. On the above, this is my second photo shoot
analysis. I’ve included all the things that my
second photo shoot can include.
I’ve included on who I wanted to include in my
photo shoot and what or where I would like to
locate my photo shoot.
In doing this, this will help me have a more
clearer idea of what my table of contents photo
shoot would be like, rather than me not having
any idea of what I should have done. Personally I
find this much more efficient and helpful towards
my project.
5. I’ve chosen this image to use for my
table of contents as I think it’s
appropriate that the models were to
look like they were ‘socialising’ to
help readers gain a better first
impression that socialising and
school life were two of my core
ideas to make this magazine seem
suitable.
Choice of photos
I think it’s effective that both of the photos
I used had a similarity in the setting and
the people. I didn’t want to change the
second choice of image as I intended on
keeping the image the same as I find it
more eye-catching towards the readers.
6. I’ve chosen these two images to use as
a part of my table of contents. So far I
have included a text like font, because
I personally think it makes the table of
contents stand out.
Table of contents plan
So far the colour scheme I have
chosen for my table of contents is in
correlation to the front cover image. I
plan on keeping a red/blue/black and
white theme going along as I feel it
would be appropriate that it matched.
7. This is my final design of my table of
contents. I wanted to maintain a white
background as that was my first choice-
with the front cover. However the font
scheme is very simple and clear to read; as
I think that would be the most appropriate.
Also, I put the photos in a ‘Hard Light’
Layer so that it would bring out a more
adolescent look- although the image isn’t
as clear and vivid (can’t see their faces as
much) I personally find this choice more
suitable for my magazine.
