16. The peak travel season in the most popular parts of Australia is the
Australian winter. In much of the country – Queensland, the Top
End, the Red Centre and most of Western Australia – the most
pleasant time to travel is April through September, when daytime
temperatures are 66° to 88°F (19°-31°C) and it rarely rains.
June, July and August are the busiest months in these areas.
On the other hand, Australia's summer is a nice time to visit the
southern states - New South Wales, Victoria, South
Australia, Western Australia from Perth to the south, and Tasmania.
Even in winter, temperatures rarely dip below freezing, and snow
falls only in parts of Tasmania.
Ultimately the best months to visit Australia are September and
October. During this period it's still warm enough to hit the southern
beaches, but also cool enough to tour Uluru (Ayers Rock). As
well, the humidity and rains have not yet come to Cairns or the Top
End and the wildflowers are in full bloom in Western Australia

17. Depending on what you want to do, you can virtually
go all over New Zealand at all times of the year. The
summer months are from November to April, peak
season is December, February and March. This is not
only because of foreign tourists but also domestic
travelers who have holidays from 20th December to
late January when schools close. Easter weekend and
late October are also vacation times.
For beach bums, January and February are the best
time though other months are also quite warm.
October and May are quieter and cheaper as all the
rates start to come down, and if you avoid high altitude
areas, then the weather can be cool and pleasant. If
you're planning a ski trip then June to September are
the best months to come in.

round and can be chilly when they
come from Antarctica and warm when
they blow from across the Tasman
Sea.
The North Island is subtropical while
the North is temperate. The coldest
months are June, July and August;
the warmest are December, January

Average summer temperatures range
from 20 to 30 degrees and maximum
winter temperatures from 10 to 15
degrees Celsius. . Summer season is

pleasant almost round the year,
though it can get quite windy in the
