To whom it may concern:
My name is Patrick C. DeLuca
I am sending this cover and resume in the hope there may be an open
position as manager or supervisor. I am a former successful business
owner, put out of business solely by U.S. trade agreements. Subsequent to
that time I worked as manager for several large jewelry companies. In
each position, I increased production and delivery times and decreased
rejection rates. I was responsible for hiring and termination of employees
respective to my department. I received many awards, bonuses and
accolades for my performance. My product knowledge was an asset to my
success however, my managerial style and out of the box thinking helped
propel me to meet and exceed my goals. I am firm but fair but I always
acted in the best interest of my employer.
I was entrusted with millions of dollars worth of product. I have no
problem making large decisions or taking the initiative if I believe it
contributes to the bottom line of increasing revenue. I will however,
inform upper management before I step forward.
I have many details to speak of and expand on. I know I have much to
bring to the table, too much to put forth in a cover letter. I hope that we
can meet sometime in the near future, where I can answer any questions
you may have and ask a few myself.
Thank You
Patrick C. DeLuca
