PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Customer Service Manager – Transportation Security Clearinghouse
I managed a growing call center of 15 service representatives who received and disposed ofmore than 30k calls per year. Thos e
services involved processing high volumes of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) for level 2 support of background
investigations. This information was routed electronically to and from the FBI as well as other local bureaus of investigation for
aviation clients and commercial clients in various states. My challenges while many were to motivate employees to be
overachievers while learning to work with less and to rely on each other as a resource. My goal was to improve the customer
experience based on client feedback, observations and matrices while always reviewing multiple options before making final
decisions.Prioritizing customer service enabled open, constant and constructive dialogue. Analyzing support data enabled me to
strengthen weak areas and collaborating more closely with the technical side allowed me to stay ahead of potential service
problems. Maintaining open communication with IT and my service representatives empowered me to provide solutions that often
required thinking outside the box. Administrative responsibilities included interviewing for new staff, scheduling for peak h ours,
determining work assignments, performance reviews, training, coaching, and overall management support.
