SUBJECT: Letter of Recommendation for SSG Paul Samarin
1. I highly recommend SGG Paul Samarin for selection to serve as the AGR Human Resources
NCO for the HHC, 223rd
Regiment (RTI). SSG Samarin is uniquely qualified by having the
appropriate MOS for the position and several years of experience working in that position as an
ADOS Soldier. He possesses all of the necessary unit level experience to support the unit’s
administrative excellence requirements. He consistently demonstrates a sound dedication to
duty, as well as a “can-do” attitude that many of his peers lack.
2. Paul is a dynamic Soldier capable of achieving any task set before him. He demonstrates the
skill sets necessary to successfully work at pay grades higher than his own; to include working
the very complex, administrative support projects required on behalf of the 223rd
Regiment
(RTI). Paul possesses extensive knowledge with all of the automated administrative and pay
systems, with a thorough understanding of iPerms. Additionally, his chain of command and
peers attest to his exceptional qualities as a leader and administrative expert.
