Geiger Elementary/Montessori School saw increases in enrollment, teachers, and classroom teachers from 2007-2014. The average teacher tenure decreased during this period while the percentage of students qualifying for free/reduced lunch increased initially and then decreased. The school expanded its Montessori program from pre-K to 2nd grade in 2009-2010 to pre-K to 5th grade by 2013-2014. Standardized test scores on the WCAP were generally low in earlier years and increased in later years for 3rd through 5th grades in reading, math, and science.
