• TypeScript is compiled to JavaScript
• JS is a valid TypeScript (superset)
• Build in compliance with ECMAScript 6
• It brings:
• Class based Objet Oriented Programing (inheritance, IoC / DI, …)
• Is just a syntactic sugar
• Header (definition) files for existing JavaScript libs.
• Optional static typing
