Remember to buy your candy grams, send a friend a yummy
treat and a holiday message. Support the grade 5 and 6
overnight trip.

Next week we will be having a week of dress up days.
Monday December 19th Festive Wear- wear your holiday
favourites. Elf ears, Santa hats, deck yourself out in jingle
bells...
December 20th Cardboard Box Fashion- use
cardboard and cardboard boxes to create your outfit
for the day. Start planning this week for this unusual day!

December 21st Holiday Character- think of your favorite
storybook or movie character from this holiday season, dress
up as her or him.
December 22nd Ugly Sweater-wear your ugliest (school
appropriate) Christmas sweater

December 23 Pj Day- pajama day is not about what you
wear to bed, it is about wearing your favorite clean pajamas
to school to be comfy and cozy all day.
Starting this week you can decorate your classroom door.
This is not a competition but a celebration of the upcoming
holidays.

Portable classrooms are to decorate the following doors
inside the building so that everyone can enjoy your creativity.
This week is also door decorating. Celebrate the holidays with

8. Trinkets to Treasures
It’s time to bring in your trinkets for our Trinkets to Treasures
gift event!
Please bring in items such as candles, mugs, books,
decorations and clean, gently used toys. Items are being
collected by the teacher, Ms. Jones, up until Wednesday
December 14th.
Items will be for sale on December 15th and 16th for 25 cents
to $2.
