and escape, 45% to be entertained and inspired, 14% to pursue a hobby.
• Almost 50% of travellers use online video in some shape or form before deciding
where to go on holiday.
• Attendees also heard how consumers are using video to make critical trip purchasing
decisions – 65% when they are thinking about taking a trip, 67% when choosing a
destination, 67% when looking for ideas for activities, 63% when deciding on
accommodation and 26% when deciding which website to book on.
• Video plays a vital role for brands because most consumers are undecided about
what companies to book with and find it hard to differentiate between them.

Shoot2Share is a guided video creation, automated editing and publishing app,

South African Airways would like promote various destinations by creating video
destination guides and review of all aspects of the trip & the destination. Selected
travel agents, travel bloggers, journalists, experienced travellers and even SAA staff
would use Shoot2Share to film and share these videos. SAA would develop a huge
library of travel reviews, travel tips and travel guides which can be shared via various
digital and social media platforms and become the go-to resource for this type of
content.

Step 3: They select the relevant storyboard, follow the shot list & start filming.
