MS Word: How to configure paste options, full justification and hanging indentation
1. Microsoft Word: 3 useful tips
This presentation will show you few tips
about Microsoft word. Tips about Paste
option configuration, hanging indentation,
full justification formatting will help the
common MS word beneficial.
2. First Tip: Configure Paste Option
This will avoid choosing formatting
options when ever you paste a text in
same, or different document. You could
set your preferred formatting options for
all time.
5. Under “ Cut, copy, and paste” Four type of paste
mentioned. For each type you could choose the paste
formatting options at right side of them like “keep
source formatting” or “Match Destination
Formatting” or “Keep Text Only” according to your
need.
6. To avoid the formatting option
popup every time you paste
Uncheck this “Show Paste Options
buttons”
7. Second Tip: Change full-justification
formatting
This option will provide you more compact
and less white spaced justified alignment .
First click Office icon -> word
options -> Advanced
9. Click the check box “Do
full justification the
way WordPerfect 6.z
for Windows does”
10. Look at the text, it
justified and look more
compact and less space
between words
11. THIRD TIP: HOW TO USE HANGING INDENT
Select the paragraphs you want to give
hanging indent .
Go to Home button -> Locate Paragraph
section and click the small “Down arrow”
button to open paragraph dialog box

Spacing” tab you will see
“Indentation” section. Go
to Special option and
choose ”Hanging”
