Project Name: Establishment of extended pilot plant facility for preparation of 320 Kg per
annum Hafnium sponge.
Project Details: - hafnium metal sponge project starting from zirconium scrub raffinate involves
intricate steps and process parameters. It utilizes scrub raffinate from Nuclear Fuel Complex as a
raw material. The process spread in five production plants namely Zirconium Recovery plant,
Hafnium Enrichment plant, Chlorination plant, Reduction plant and vacuum distillation plant
with sponge handling section.
JOB PROFILE :
 Good knowledge in maintenance and trouble shooting of various instruments such as PID
Controllers, Digital Temperature Indicators and Controllers, Transmitters (Level) Pressure,
Temperature), Flow meters, pneumatic& control valves, Pressure Gauges, etc.
 Experience in Auto control systems and PLC based systems (.Schneider m340).
 Good knowledge in calibration of various types of instruments, maintaining ISO records and
