2. J.A. Wedum Residential Hospice Project Architect Responsible for producing and coordinating drawing sets for city submittal and construction documents Mohagen/Hansen Architectural Group was selected to provide site planning, exterior building design and interior architecture and design for a new residential hospice to be located in one of the northern suburbs of Minneapolis. One of the challenges of this project was to maintain the residential character of the building while meeting the programmatic needs of a medical facility. We were also charged with delivering a budget conscious and low maintenance building. I worked with the project designer to research and incorporate stock sizes of doors, windows, and trim throughout the project. The exterior trim and siding has a factory applied paint with a fifteen year warranty.
10. Crosstown Medical Office Building and Parking Ramp CAD “Guru” Setup and maintained CAD drawings as well as produced drawings Mohagen/Hansen Architectural Group was selected to redevelop an existing commercial site for a large orthopedic specialty practice. The project included an extremely challenging city review process, as well as the development of numerous building design concepts. This building is currently pursuing LEED Certification, Silver status for the building shell. Sustainability initiatives being developed include a green roof design, a high performance HVAC system and creative storm water management strategies to take advantage of the unique site constraints.
17. Southtown Office Building Graphic Specialist Modeled exterior options in SketchUp for client presentation. Mohagen/Hansen Architectural Group was selected to update the exterior and the interior public spaces of the building. Three options were developed for the exterior, which can be seen above.
18. Richfield Medical Project Architect/Manager/Designer Oversaw project from schematic design to construction. Mohagen/Hansen Architectural Group was selected to design a new entry addition for an existing medical practice in Richfield. The addition not only gave the clinic a larger, more modern reception and waiting area, but allowed a reorganization of the administrative side of the clinic that improved work flow. We were also asked to update the finishes in the exam rooms.
25. Legacy Farm Builders – Afton Estate Graphic Specialist Modeled and rendered three dimensional fly-by Mohagen/Hansen Architectural Group was asked to produce a marketing video for Legacy Farm Builders to use on their website.
26. Anchor Bank – Snelling and Concordia Team Member Produced drawings under supervision of Project Architect Mohagen/Hansen Architectural Group provided planning, architecture and interior design services for a new Anchor Bank location in St. Paul, Minnesota. The building located at the high traffic intersection of Snelling and Concordia Avenues, required all phases of planning and design including site planning and exterior building design. The bank occupies the first floor of the building while the second floor is leasable office space. The lower level also includes office space as well as a community room. Due to tight site constraints we employed a novel drive through concept.
34. Anchor Bank – Burnsville Team Member Produced drawings under supervision of Project Architect Mohagen/Hansen Architectural Group provided architecture and interior design services for a new Anchor Bank location in Burnsville, Minnesota. The project required all phases of planning and design including site planning and exterior building design. The challenge was to create an exterior and interior that would attract new businesses and individuals to bank with this Minnesota based financial institution.
41. Great Plains Bank Team Member Produced drawings under supervision of Project Architect Mohagen/Hansen Architectural Group provided planning and architectural design services for this bank building located in Great Plains, South Dakota. Services included the interior design of the 4,000 sq. ft. bank. Build out of the second floor occurred as each tenant space was leased. The bulding is prominently located on the corner of a high traffic area in Great Plans. The proximity of the building to the local airport meant no part of the building could be taller than twenty six feet.
