DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our Fishtail representative and driver meet you at the Tribhuvan
International Airport and escort you to your designed hotel. The representative will help you check into
your hotel. At the hotel, you will be briefed about your daily activities.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
Kathmandu is the historical and cultural heart of Nepal and has been a popular destination for
tourists ever since Nepal opened its doors to visitors. The Kathmandu valley offers you a
wonderful mix of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and Western influence. In the morning after
having breakfast, you will be guided to visit famous and biggest Hindus Pashupatinath temple,
Buddha stupa, Swoyambhunath and in the afternoon having lunch you will visit Kathmandu
durbar square and Patan durbar square.
Day 03: Fly/ drive toPokhara& drive to Phedi, trek to Dhampus [1700m]
This day is important day to you because your trek is starts from today. For this, in the early morning
after having breakfast you will be driven to Pokhara, 200 km distance from Kathmandu and it takes 5-6
hours on tourist vehicle/ you have another option i.e. fly to Pokhara. On the way to our destination
we will go through beautiful forests, deep gorges and pass Nepali villages. Once in Pokhara we
will take a short 1 hour drive to Phedi where our trek starts. After 2 hours of hiking we will
reach Dhampus.
Day 04: Trek to Landrung [1550m]
You can have your first glance of snow-capped mountains from Dhampus with the early
morning sun rising. After breakfast we head towards Pothana which offers splendid view of Mt.
3. Machhapuchhre and others. Walking through farming villages and forests we eventually reach
Landrung and you will be accommodated at local tea house.
Day 05: Trek to Chomrong [2100m]
From Landrung, you march along the mountain path of stone steps, pass through a hamlet,
cross a suspension bridge and then you come across dense forest of bamboo. Your trek does
not stop here. After trekking for a while, you approach teahouses at Jhinu where you can rest
and enjoy a drink or snacks. Thereafter, you resume your trek to the north, descending Daaulu
and after having walked for five hours you, reach yourself at Chomrong which is the best place
to observe the prominent and mesmerizing view of Machhapuchhre.
Day 06: Trek to Himalaya hotel [2850m]
Today you have to first go downhill to the river called Chomrong and then uphill to Khudi-ghar.
Hiking through dense bamboo forest and rhododendron bushes, landscape, Annapurna
Himalaya range the trail will take you to your final destination of the day, Himalaya Hotel.
Day 07: A day for rest day
Today is rest day you spend your entire day taking complete rest, planning for forthcoming trips and
getting habituated to your trekking destinations.
Day 08: Trek to Machhapuchhre Base Camp [3700m]
After having your breakfast, your day start for the route climbs to Himalaya Hotel (2840m). On
the way you can explore the Hinku cave. After lunch the trail continues into the
Machhapuchhre Base Camp for overnight stay with the closest view of the Machhapuchhre
along Annapurna I and Gangapurna.
Day 09: Trek to Annapurna south base camp [4130m]
This day you proceeds descend a small ridge branching out from the mountain pass to
mountainside with widespread terraced fields showcasing tranquil meadows and lush fertile
farming land. As you reach Annapurna South Base Camp, witness awesome picturesque
landscapes, majestic panoramic view of snow-capped mountainous peaks and varied Himalayan
cultural settings tucked beneath the southern slopes of the Annapurna massif.
Day 10: Trek to Chomrong [2100m]
After discovering the Annapurna south Base Camp, today you will go ahead to Ghandruk by
passing the dense forest of mixed plant life, cultivated land, and grassland. After the 5 hours
walk, you will be at Ghandruk where you catch the pictures of majestic great Himalaya range of
Annapurna region.
Day 11: Trek to Ghandrunk [1940m]
This day you must trek up to Banthali by walking around 3 – 4 hours. This trails offer you the
similar kind of objects to see and observe as you saw in the past i.e. forests, landscape, sight of
great Himalaya range. You will reach Banthali via Tadapani which is the vantage point to
glimpse heavenly sight of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Machhapauchhare, Dhaulagiri etc.
4. Day 12: Trek to Banthanti [2410m]
Leaving the terraced fields of Ghandruk, we move on path on a steep slope. As you ascend
steeply, you pass through dense rhododendron forest to Tadapani which is an ideal vantage
point to glimpse heavenly sight of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Machhapuchhare. After
having walked for 3 hours, you finally reach Banthanti.
Day 13: Trek to Ghorepani [2880m]
Today, you precede further trail to explore the exotic sight of majestic snow-capped Annapurna
Himalaya range, forest, landscape, cultivated fields with rich flora and fauna really impress you.
Continue walking for 3 hours and finally you will reach at Ghorepani which is one the best place
for tourist and you will be accommodated at the local tea house at Ghorepani.
Day 14: Trek to Nayapul, drive to Pokhara
After taking the mesmerizing sight of Dhaulagiri and other popular Annapurna Himalaya range
you will leave Ghorepani and go ahead to Nayapul where you are picked up by vehicle to
transfer to Pokhara which takes around 1 hour to reach the downtown city.
Day 15: Fly/Drive to Kathmandu
After having breakfast you will drive to the airport and take a flight to Kathmandu or will be
driven to Kathmandu via tourist vehicle. The entire day in the capital is free for enjoy some
shopping, relaxation.
Day 16: Depart Kathmandu
After checking out of the hotel, our representative will take to the airport for your flight home. Or if you
want to stay longer for short tours i.e. National parks, rafting, and mountain biking, hiking, etc.
