Spring celebrated in
India, Guyana,
Nepal and in parts of
Venezuela.
On the first day, there is the burning of the
devil woman Jolikā. On the second day,
people spend the day throwing themselves
powder and colored water.

You can eat some holi recipes.: Dahi bhalle, Gathi ya,
Namakpare, Aloo puri, Bhang Ki Lassi, Bhang Pakore,
and other foods.

5. INGREDIENTS:
For bhalle:
1 cup urad duli dal (split black gram)
Pinch of hing
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
1 chopped green chilly
Little chopped ginger
For filling:
1 tsp chopped kaju
1 tsp kishmish
1 small tsp grated coconut
Salt to taste
For the dahi:
2 cups thick yogurt
½ cup milk
Pinch of sugar
1 tsp dry roasted jeera powder
1 tsp blak salt
2 tblsp sweet tamarind chutney
Few pomegranate seeds

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup flour (maida)
1cup semolina (Suji)
41/2-51/2 tblsp water
2 tbsp beaten curd
3 tblsp ghee
1tsp Ajwain
¾ tsp Salt or to taste
Oil for deep frying
