Roles & Responsibilities:
 Worked with the JCB India Headquarter Office as DCO Administrator.
 Managing the HP UNIX servers with MC Service Guard cluster.
 Attending daily issues such as filesystems management, housekeeping, checking disk usages.
 Managing filesystems: Extending, reducing and removing filesystems using LVM.
 Job scheduling and automating process using cron.
 Installing software, patches and tools for assisting in enhancement of security.
 User and group administration.
 Functioning as the Escalation Point for issues where you need to take real time decisions.
 Participatingin Incident Management and Global Change Management Meetings and Weekend and night-
time maintenance rotations.
 Coordinating with vendors, customer and application team for any hardware/OS and infra related issue.
 Acknowledged as well as resolved the issues reported through tickets, alerts and E-Mails within the
defined SLA (Service Level Agreement).
 Performing and monitoring daily scheduled/unscheduled backups using fba ckup/frecover and HP Data
Protector.
 Maintaining updated documentation for current hardware and software configurations, and also for
proposed future installations & modifications to the current environment.
Highlights:
 Successfully co-ordinated for Data Centre migration to new data Centre
 Awarded appreciation certificate and star performer trophy from HP India and appreciation from customer
(JCB India).
 Accredited as the outstanding performer during Data Centre Power Outage
