Here is howwe can check the expiryof LPG cylinders:
On one of three side stemsof the cylinder,the expirydate iscodedalphanumericallyasfollows A orB
or C or D and some twodigitnumberfollowingthise.g.D06.
The alphabetsstandforquarters -
1. A for March (FirstQtr),
2. B forJune (SecondQtr),
3. C forSept(ThirdQtr),
4. D forDecember(FourthQtr).
The digitsstandfor the year till it isvalid.Hence D06 wouldmeanDecemberqtrof 2006.
