This document discusses how crowds can lead people to feel alone and anonymous due to a lack of individual recognition. It proposes installing outer mirrors in public areas that use computer vision to reflect an individual's image alongside one neighbor, blurring the rest of the crowd. This aims to occasionally remind people in crowds of their own and others' individuality in a momentary way, breaking the anonymity and diffusion of responsibility that can come from being in large groups.
