SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
Human Resource Management
• Re-designed, implemented changes and delivered the Finance Systems Administrators,
Systems Co-Coordinators and HR Mangers Course with the new regulations published by the
MOD in order for the Army to achieve its goal in having enough trained personnel to carry out
their duties in all environments with the HR community.
• Organised and delivered all Regimental Disciplinary Hearings, giving sound impartial advice to
the Commanding Officer on his powers and appropriate sanctions, where necessary.
• Developed and implemented a new management system in response to systematic failures in
the personnel appraisal reporting system within the Brigade he was serving at; this system has
since been implemented as good practice within other units, including the Directorate of Human
Resources.
• As the Commander of a large team of soldiers on operational deployment in Afghanistan,
proactively implemented the MOD’s Working Hours Directive to ensure that Service personnel
had the requisite rest between periods of duty so that they were ready to carry out their duties in
order for them to achieve their goals within their time period.
General Administration and Project Management
• Project Manager, Lead Instructional Designer and Defence Instructor for the Armed Forces
System Coordinator, Finance Systems Administrator and HR Mangers Course’s.
2. • Responsible for complete course re-design whilst identifying and validating improvements within
the design, delivery and maintenance process.
• Planned, organised and delivered a number of Charity Sporting events, obtaining sponsorship
from many selected charities.
Training Management and Design
• Budgeted, planned, organised and executed British Military training team deployments to
identify areas for improvement.
• Compiled post training reports for the MOD.
• Conducted Training Needs Analysis, Course design and implementation of MOD’s HR Training.
• As a commander in charge of a detachment of soldiers conducted training days to analyse the
Units management’s reports and get the soldiers to present their goals by coaching and
