How do I create expectations? What is expected in their role? Do they have the “tools” to succeed? Will the position create a challenge? How will they be recognized for their efforts? Will they feel cared for as a person? How is development encouraged? How do I measure their performance?
What is motivation? Understanding motivation. What are the prime motivators? What are the secondary motivators? What are the de-motivators? What do people want in their careers? Does the compensation package encourage growth? Why do I need an open environment? Can I measure performance and provide feedback?
How do I develop my team? How do they learn? What types of communication will I need? What different trainings do I offer? How do I measure performance? How do I create plans for their development? How do I provide feedback that creates development? Do you provide timely reviews/evaluations? How do you get them to the next level?
What is your People Resource strategy? Do they know what is expected? Do you know how to utilize the skills, talents and knowledge of your team? Do you know how to create a challenge, then allow them to do their job? Can you provide feedback that is timely, constructive and provides growth? Does your business provide a learning and growing environment?
