The approach used to attract
the attention of consumers
and/or to influence their
feelings toward the product,
service, or cause. It's
something that moves people,
speaks to their wants or need,
and excites their interest.
Goal to convince and
influence the purchasing
decision of people.
• This type of advertising
appeal is meant to signify
that since everybody is doing
something you should be a
part of the crowd as well. It
appeals towards the
popularity aspect or coolness
aspect of a person using a
particular product or service.
• Appealing to people
by using a celebrity
they admire and
recognize
• Celebrities and well
known personalities
often endorse certain
products and their
pitching can help drive
the sales.
• Trust is built by using
recognizable people
• Appealing to a person’s
sense of adventure and
excitement. The goal of
the adventure appeal is
to make people feel like
the excitement, action,
entertainment, and sense
of adventure will be
enhanced if they
purchase or use a
product or service.
• Empathy involves viewing another
person’s situation from the
perspective of that person, and
understanding how the situations
appears to that person and how that
person is reacting cognitively and
emotionally to the situation
• As an involuntary and unselfconscious
merging with another's feelings
• Empathy refers to a person's capacity
to feel within or in another person's
feelings
• can a brand provide any real solution
to my problems? I think that I give
more credit to those brands that
appear to understand my “unique”
situation
• Scarcity appeals are based on
limited supplies or limited time
period for purchase of products ,
Appealing to people by making
them feel that something will run
out soon or is about to end.
• The goal is to make people feel
that they need to hurry or they
will be left out. Everyone else is
doing it and you may lose your
chance.
• Advertisements often try to
influence people to make
certain purchases by pointing
out their inadequacies or
making them feel less perfect
and more dissatisfied with
their present condition. These
types of advertising appeals
are used in cosmetic and
health industries.
• Appealing to people’s
obsession of and trust in
numbers. The goal of the
statistics appeal is to use
numbers and data to
persuade people that
what you have to say or
what your product does is
accurate, and research-
based
 Advertising appeals aim to influence the way
consumers view themselves and how buying
certain products can prove to be beneficial
for them. The message conveyed through
advertising appeals influences the
purchasing decisions of consumers. Keep on

of advertising appeals that can be seen in
the media today.

  • 3.  It is the method used by Business companies and other organizations to promote their goods and services to public.  Aim is to increase sales by showing goods and service in a positive light.  “Advertising is any paid form of non-personal presentation and promotion of goods, services, or ideas by an identified sponsor.” -By Philip Kotler

It's something that moves people, speaks to their wants or need, and excites their interest. Goal to convince and influence the purchasing decision of people.

  • 6. • This type of advertising appeal is meant to signify that since everybody is doing something you should be a part of the crowd as well. It appeals towards the popularity aspect or coolness aspect of a person using a particular product or service.

  • 8. • Appealing to a person’s sense of adventure and excitement. The goal of the adventure appeal is to make people feel like the excitement, action, entertainment, and sense of adventure will be enhanced if they purchase or use a product or service.
  • 9. • Empathy involves viewing another person’s situation from the perspective of that person, and understanding how the situations appears to that person and how that person is reacting cognitively and emotionally to the situation • As an involuntary and unselfconscious merging with another's feelings • Empathy refers to a person's capacity to feel within or in another person's feelings • can a brand provide any real solution to my problems? I think that I give more credit to those brands that appear to understand my “unique” situation

The message conveyed through advertising appeals influences the purchasing decisions of consumers.
