you guys have resorted to fast food
after talking to people -- kens example
people are starting to eat healthier
MAC-To combat this problem, Wrap n’ Roll would offer healthy and convenient fast food to customers who are on the go. The drive thru would be open from 12pm-2am and would focus on 3 main wraps, healthy side dishes and beverages. Both the wraps and side dishes would be made from all organic ingredients and would promote a healthy lifestyle by offering meals and snacks that are on the low end of the glycemic index chart. Foods that have low GI are associated with a reduced risk of cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes, and various forms of cancer. Consuming these types of foods also helps keep insulin levels in the body at equal levels. Many foods with high GI cause blood insulin levels to increase when consumed. This is problematic due to the fact that when insulin levels fall, the consumer loses energy causing the mid day “crash” feeling. Wrap n’ Roll would combat this common problem by offering meals and snacks that have low GI, leaving the consumer feeling level and happy throughout their entire day.
MAC- our team would consist of the four of us, four chefs and four food runners. Geena Wheeler would be the General Manager and oversee all employees and aspects of the company.
Riyadh Jennings would act as the Marketing Strategist. He would be in charge of finding the most efficient ways to market the drive thru restaurant.
Jeffrey Yue would oversee all financials and keep accurate records of spendings and income levels.
And I would ensure that our operations are running smoothly and we are offering our customers what they want.
The rest of the team would consist of the chefs who prepare the fresh wraps for our customers and employees, 2 of which would be specialized in health food and food runners who package the food, work the register, take orders and ring up customers.
All employees would be trained to work in an efficient and quick manner. We want each of our customers to get their food in a timely fashion because we know they are on the go.
MAC- originally we titled our business “Health Hut” however once we decided to simplify our menu to wraps we decided to switch our name to Wrap n’ Roll. Wrap n’ Roll would focus on three different wraps and would give the customer the ability to choose their choice of lean protein from any of the following: chicken, tofu, turkey or steak. Each of the three wraps would feature the customers choice of a “special sauce,” be filled with all organic vegetables from local farmers and wrapped in the customer’s choice of healthy tortilla. Along with these wraps, Wrap n’ Roll would also offer a healthy side dish menu to complement the wraps or purchase solely as an on-the-go snack. This menu would feature items such as kale chips, sweet potato fries, fresh fruit and celery with peanut butter and would be packaged in cups that would conveniently fit into car cup holders. A wrap, side dish and beverage would be priced at $10.
here we have a picture of what one of our meals would look like. A basic wrap with chicken lettuce quinoa and other veggies would cost us 2.09 to make and we will be selling this basic wrap for 5.95 which gives us a profit of 3.86 per wrap.
for the entire meal: a wrap, side, and a drink it we will be making a 5.63 profit.
GEENA
lettuce $.30
chicken $1.09
quinoa .10
BASIC WRAP = $2.09 → sell it for 5.95 = 3.86 per wrap
Sides = 1.48 → sell for 2.95 = 2.52
drinks = .20.25.28 = .80 →2.25 = 1.45
2.09 + 1.48 + .8 = 4.37 cost to make it
we make 5.63 a meal

we will then open in Los Angeles, CA, Santa Barbara, CA, Portland, OR, and Austin, TX.
we chose these locations because according to the article 25 Happiest, Healthiest Cities in America these five locations have high rates of residents wanting healthy organic food
the people of Portland, OR emphasizing the need for affordable produce.
The American Fitness Index claimed Austin, TX to have 51% of their residents in “good health.”
based on our interviews people our age are willing to pay more for a meal and each of these cities have college campuses which would give us a bigger market. as you can tell we have high start up costs but we believe by combating the problem of no healthy drive thru there is a bright future for our sales
