One day some parents brought
their children to Jesus so he
could lay his hands on them and
pray for them. But the disciples
scolded the parents for
bothering him.

Financial Issues.
But he came to Jesus, just as he was.

willing to make the
decision to follow.

15. Matthew 9:9 As Jesus was
walking along, he saw a man
named Matthew sitting at his tax
collector’s booth. “Follow me and
be my disciple,” Jesus said to
him. So Matthew got up and
followed him.

17. Mathew 3:16 After his baptism, as
Jesus came up out of the water, the
heavens were opened and he saw
the Spirit of God descending like a
dove and settling on him. 17 And a
voice from heaven said, “This is my
dearly loved Son, who brings me
great joy.”
