The majority of Canadians – 70 per cent, according to a national survey conducted by Head Research for Rogers – want to keep using their smartphones after they cross the border.

• An online survey was conducted by Head Research on behalf of
Rogers Communications among N=1,001 adult (18+) Canadian
panelists who own smartphones and plan to travel to the US for
personal reasons in 2013. Fieldwork was conducted from
• April 24-26, 2013. Sample was drawn from major regions in
proportion to the Canadian Census. The statistical margin of error is
+/- 3.1 (assumes panelists do not dier from non-panelists, and
respondents do not dier from not-respondents). This means
• that, in 19 times out of 20 cases, survey results for questions based
on all survey respondents (N=1,001) will dier by no more than 3.1 in
either direction from what would have been obtained by
measuring the opinions of all similar adult Canadians.
