1. VP – Business Process Transformation

As the VP of Business Process Transformation you will work with business leaders and
executives to transform Philips. Your inspirational leadership will engage and motivate
employees to be catalysts of change within the Philips organization. You will mobilize
change in business models and process management through transformation across the
organization. You will build a state-of-the–art, lean and agile process management system
that embeds, sustains and continuously improves the end2end value chains across all
business models
This highly visible role is critical to the business transformation that is to deliver the
overarching vision and strategy of the Philips organization. Your strategy will inspire
people to embrace change as a given. You will collaborate with business leaders and
internal stakeholders to create a differentiating business model that win in the market and
act as a magnet for both the internal and external environment.
Your Responsibilities
As the VP of Business Process Transformation you will ensure business modeling and
process management practitioners throughout Philips conduct their activities in a unified
way. This will enable Philips businesses to be able to build on each other, share results,
knowledge, and experience. You will be creating the common Philips business models and
processes that will fuel all business activities in Philips.
You will provide leadership to the Process Management Practice that develops a set of
policies, methodologies, tools, standards and services promoting consistency,
collaboration and application of best practices. Through a network of hundreds of
business process owners and experts that spans the entire organization, you establish the
required end-end process capabilities, mindsets and behaviours will manage a program
and a team of 10 for the transition from the current situation to the desired state.
2. Among other duties, you will be primarily responsible for:
• Leading the Process Management Center of Excellence (CoE)
• During the initial phase, responsible for setting up the CoE:
o Agree scope of the practice, ensure alignment with other BE practices
o Establish relationships with stakeholders across entire organization
o Direct the development of methodologies, tools, standards, etc
o Progress reporting to the E2E steering committee and Executive Committee
(ExCo)
o Communicate on and promote the process management practice
• Supporting and further evolving the process management practice in Philips
o Support the actual transformation of Philips into an end2end process driven
organization within regulatory requirements and with due consideration of
continued certification (a/o ISO 9K, 14K, 13485, OHSAS)
o Identify needs for new PM capabilities
• Ensuring effective governance mechanisms are in place
• Facilitating governance boards
Your Team
Accelerate is the Philips transformation program created to drive innovation and customer
centricity, while improving operational performance, enabling Philips to deliver on its 2015
and long term targets. Accelerate has 5 initiatives, one is End2End. The End2End
program has been established to drive speed, simplification, and excellence through
End2End customer value chains, to step up meaningful innovation, improve time-to-
market, and improve overall efficiency.
As the VP of Business Process Transformation you will be a member of the End2End team.
You will report directly to the leader of the End2End program. The leader of the End2End
program reports directly to the CEO of Philips.

We are looking for:
A talented VP – Head of Business Process Transformation with:
15+ years of extensive, demonstrable experience in business modeling and
business process management, including E2E value chains
10+ years in business management in a large, multi-national organization
Direct experience leading change management initiatives in global organizations
(required)
Business acumen and a deep understanding of business challenges and trends
Proven ability to make strategic decisions with confidence and influence
Success and comfort working in large, complex, and matrixed organizations
Strong experience in resource management and coaching senior leadership
Proven networking skills and an a proven ability to develop strong partnerships
with key stakeholders across an organization to drive results
Knowledge of program management, change management, and Lean six sigma
process management
University degree (or equivalent); MBA or advanced degree is a plus
Native English (verbal and written)
Location
Philips global headquarters are located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands (relocation
supported).
