Plunket
The scheme aims to promote the
sense of community that develops
from walking and cycling friendly
communities as well as the benefits
of exercise, family cohesion and
safety.
18. Kate Meads - The Nappy Lady
The Nappy Lady is a website that
provides unbiased information
surrounding cloth nappies. This
gives parents the opportunity to
search out information about the
different styles of cloth nappies
without having the confusion of
brands.
19. Ooooby
Ooooby is a social
business that connects
local food growers and
eaters. To date Ooooby has
a network of close to 3000
food growing members,
mostly backyard growers
and some small to medium
farms.
20. Paraoa Bakehouse
Paraoa Bakehouse make Purebread – organic and
gluten free bread. This year has seen the launch of the
Purebread Organic Education Programme and Trees
for Survival planting using Purebread Bags.

design and establish

under-utilised urban

the Yealands vision is

programme is a social
innovation programme
aimed at meeting the

Network
The Tipu Ake ki te Ora
Organic Leadership Model
means growing ever upwards
towards a place of Ora
(Wellbeing) . It was inspired
by the tiny school at Te
