SL Corporation is taking visibility into Oracle Coherence to the next level with version 6.0 of their highly regarded RTView Oracle Coherence Monitor (OCM). RTView OCM 6.0 provides new analytics to understand and alert on Coherence cluster configuration, activity, performance, resource usage and load balancing for proxy connections, database persistence, and other key aspects of the grid. Everett Williams, Senior Technology Director at SL Corporation gave a deep-dive demo of the new features of RTView OCM 6.0.

- We’ll talk about the history of our Coherence Monitor over the last six years and the changes we have seen in how customers use and monitor Coherence.Often when customers install our monitor for evaluation they immediately see that something is wrong in their test or dev environment..often it’s a configuration error. When we ask..how did you know, they say..it was obvious. We will show you some examples of how our rich visual analytics can make some problems obvious..But for the production environment you will be relying on alerts. We’ll give you our list of 8 must have alerts from the OCM. We don’t have time to talk in detail about all 8 alerts in this webinar so we have picked 4.We will be omitting discussion on the proxy service, proxy nodes and proxy client connections. We decided that we need at least 20 minutes to do justice to this subject so we will be scheduling a webinar exclusively on this topic in May or June. We have some new debugging displays in 6.0 to show and tell. Please let us know if you are interested in this topic.We will finish by telling you a little more about SL Corp.
