Srijan is a non-profit organization working in rural India with a vision of empowering citizens and reducing poverty. Its mission is to reduce poverty for 100,000 rural families by 2020 through empowering them and increasing their annual income by Rs. 25,000. Srijan focuses on developing sustainable livelihood models through women-led community institutions. It promotes agriculture, livestock, watershed management, and horticulture activities. Srijan facilitates several community institutions and works to build technical and leadership skills through its professionals.
