Responses from Midwestern executives to Silicon Valley Bank's Innovation Economy Outlook survey reflect national trends including high levels of optimism, increased hiring and challenges finding employees with STEM skills. The region differs from elsewhere in the United States, however, with lower levels of performance in raising capital and selling overseas.
