requires a ticket with an entrance time so when you get to the
Pergamon Museum, buy a Neues Museum ticket for 2 ½ or 3 hours

from the west side of the building. There is a pedestrian bridge to cross
onto the Museum island that has a wheelchair lift to get up 13
steps. There is an intercom at the base of the steps to talk to a staff
member.

4. When I went there the lift was out of order (which is common in
museums throughout Europe), so a staff member led me to a
neighboring bridge to the north which had level access.

that the museum has not made the entire exhibit accessible as this
would only take a small ramp and a single wheelchair lift.
