2. The Mindset of an Entrepreneur Raymond Roldan chose to be different from the very start. Although he was raised in a family of professionals, Mr. Roldan said he has always admired entrepreneurs. He even read and collected biographies of famous entrepreneurs. After finishing his Economics degree at the University of the Philippines, Mr. Roldan tried to work as a corporate staff for a couple of months. This made him realize that being an employee was not his cup of tea. So while others worked hard to climb the corporate ladder, Mr. Roldan worked harder to successfully establish his own enterprise. "I learned in ME that an entrepreneur is one who understands the logic of his business and constantly changes the rules of the game to his advantage . An entrepreneur does this by continuously innovating and value- adding in order to differentiate and make the competition irrelevant .
