allows the sharing of the plentiful
rather than fighting over
scarcity; it provides time for

Although I had seen Swami
even when I was a child, it was
only in 1992 that I had the
good fortune of being called by
Swami to enter his fold as a
devotee. The joyful turning
point in my life came almost
suddenly, during the first visit
my late wife Dr. Rema and I
made to Swami’s Ashram at
Whitefield, near Bangalore.
Swami always says,
“If you take one step towards
me, I shall take hundred steps
towards you.”

9. True enough, ever since
that momentous day, our
lives have never been the
same, we began to
experience Swami and his
almost on a daily basis.
Swami’s greatest miracle is
how he transforms people
with his Infinite Divine
Love. That love has
achieved things even
indeed no man or even
avatars has achieved
during their lifetime.

infinite love to
humanity which led

colleges and

that, to my
knowledge, has not
been done

12. Temples of Healing
His numerous free hospitals or
‘Temples of healing’ as they are
called, provide free treatment to tens
of thousands of poor people. These
range free coronary bypass surgeries,
to orthopedic procedures, to eye
surgeries, and treatment for
neurological and kidney disorders.

13. Pragmatic
Billions of rupees have been spent by
Swami to treat countless patients with
no distinction of cast. Creed and
religion. As a practicing medical doctor
and a scientist, I have been amazed
and privileged, to witness true medical
miracles such as cancers which were
cured, or ‘cancelled’ as Swami so
lovingly puts it.

14. I have also see seemingly
incurable cases of multiple
myeloma, multiple sclerosis,
incurable skin conditions,
hopeless cases of advanced
diabetic foot infections and
numerous other illnesses
completely cured by his grace
– another manifestation of
Swami’s boundless love. One
patient I want to write about
was a middle aged man who
had undergone a rectal
surgery and had very severe
pain post operatively.

15. On the first day, he had been
given very powerful narcotic
analgesics like Pethidine and
Fortwin, but still could not sleep
because of the pain. The next
night I was doing my ward round
when he held my hand and
begged me to relieve him of his
pain and help him get a good
night’s sleep. I did not know what
to do as I had already given him
most powerful drugs the previous
night and that did not seem to
have had any effect at all on him.

16. Hallowed
I asked him to close his eyes and prayed to
Swami to relieve him of his pain and submitted
to Swami that this was beyond me, and only
Swami’s divine intervention could help the
patient. A few minutes I left the room, the
patient went to deep sleep. The nurse went
later to give him the same medicine given the
previous day, but as he was fast sleep, she did
not give him any pain killers.

17. Adjuvant
The patient slept till 7.00 am the
next day and was amazed to hear
he had not been given any
medicine at all! He then asked me
what I had done when I had
asked him to close his eyes the
previous night. I confessed to him
that I had prayed to Baba to
relieve him of his pain. On hearing
this, the patient said “Doctor,
Baba is God. How else can He
relieve me instantly of pain when
even powerful narcotic drugs
could not do so”.

18. Adjuvant
Nothings is impossible for Swami who is omnipresent, omniscient
and omnipotent, and has all the attributes of a living God, we should
consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have been in Bhagwan’s
Divine presence in our lifetime and to be under Swami’s constant
protection. Whatever little we have achieved in life, is entirely due to
Swami’s endless Grace.

19. Hands that Help are Holier than Lips that Pray
Swami’s teachings are extremely simple, practical
and direct. His profound words ‘Love All Server All’
and ‘Help Ever, Hurt Never’ are perhaps the
quintessence of all his teachings. How glorious, how
wonderful indeed, are his teachings . We humans,
with all our weaknesses and foibles, find it so
difficult to follow even these simple commands in
our daily lives. How many of us can honestly say
that we love all including our ‘enemies’ or those
who oppose us or criticise us?

20. Your life is My message
More often than not, we hurt people knowing or unknowingly with
our words or our actions. Swami had recently changed his earlier
statement of ‘My life is My Message ’ to ‘Your life is My message’ . He
has therefore placed the onus on us to try to practice at least a small
part of his teachings. If even a small percentage his pure, selfless
love percolates down to society, it would change the whole world.

21. Pinnacle
There is no doubt that Baba will continue to inspire us irrespective of
whether his physical form is present or not. All the wonderful work
started by him will definitely continue. All of us in the organisation
have been personally taught by him and it is our duty to continue his
service to society with renewed enthusiasm. Baba’s mission will only
intensify from here on.

22. Vibhuti – the sacred ash
There was an incident which I wanted to quote
ones a team of Doctors came to
Prashantinilyam after conducting Medical camp
in Africa. Baba had called them for interview.
He asked when you were examining so and so
patient in the camp, why you had not given him
any medicine. The Doctor told that I did not
had that medicine. The Baba asked him why he
had not given him Vibhuti, otherwise I would
have taken care.

23. A miracle is an event attributed
to divine intervention. Alternatively, it may be
an event attributed to a miracle worker, saint,
or religious leader. A miracle is sometimes
thought of as a perceptible interruption of the
laws of nature. Others suggest that God may
work with the laws of nature to perform what
people see as miracles.Theologians say that,

24. I want to share the miracle
happened with me as photos. This
happened on 5th Nov 2011 @ 4
a.m. IST. I was packing my
luggage for coming back form my
parent house at Panchkula to
Delhi. The vibhuti box fall on floor
of living room.
I was about to ignore the incident
after picking the box to clean the
floor without seeing it. An intuition
made me look on ground. I was
amazed to see it was the Om.

25. Just before the miraculous incident , I saw the
fragrance light sticks which I brought a couple of
years before and not used since long. Then the
inner gesture was that you have to lit it- before
the miracle happened. So I finally put flowers
from our garden on to Om symbol - which you
see on cover photo and light the fragrance
sticks. Then I called on mobile to one of the four
Prashantinilyam Security Officer Narsingh Rao
and shared the miracle. He asked did you come
for the Group Service of NCR Delhi, I said ‘No’.
Then he told you might be doing service there
only. I said yes actually I helped lot of Dengu
Fiver patients that summer. He then told to take
the photograph and send it across.
Then I called Neigh-borers, friends and
relatives and shown the Miracle. I also called the
professional photographer. The photographs are
shown in next few slides.

30. The earlier Miracle was at our
house in Anantpur. When Gold
Chariot was presented to Sathya
Sai Baba on his 74th Birthday on
23 November. Then before that
event the Vibhuti formed on
another photo. Such miracle
happens to root stronger faith in
devotees. We could not attend the
birthday celebrations because my
son fall sick.
