Personal description and future vision
Personally, I am a dynamic, ambitious and hard-working person with a wide and international pharmaceutical,
pharmacological and clinical background. I am flexible and enthusiast, a good team player but also a creative
leader. I possess optimal organizational, communicative and social skills. My drive and ambition have so far
helped me to achieve the most important targets in my scientific career and personal development.
As a pharmacist and pharmacologist my ultimate aim is to improve the patient quality of life and ameliorate
disease treatment by optimizing drug discovery and/or development. I believe that pharmaceutical/clinical
research offers the best platform to my scope due to its closer proximity to the patient setting and its relevant
impact on society.
I am interested in all therapeutic areas although my main expertise is in the fields of diabetes (with focus on
kidney and pancreas pathophysiology) and respirarory diseases.
