For our first exhibit we are bringing together 8 prominent Ukrainian contemporary artists and their paintings focused on the feminine image. The Exhibit, “ La Femme”, is going to open in March in Paris, France. The beautiful location and exposition hall are kindly provided by the Ukrainian Cultural Center/Former mansion of Alain Delon. In total in the course of 2013 we want to bring exhibits to 4 countries: France, US , UK and Israel. For this specific exhibition what makes our collection contemporary is the fact that it is a reflection and summary of the turbulent history of eastern Europe which has sculpted the multifaceted image and role of a contemporary female. Our collection depicts every aspect of the « Ukrainian eye », and the way it sees the women. Woman - from a mystical sensual creature to a hard working mother with big bare hands. Found in tender and delicate pastels of abstractions as well as clear and cut vibrant strokes of oil paint.

For centuries artists find inspiration in women’s
nature; mysterious and sincere, flirting and dramatic,
immortal yet changing. From March 7th– April 7th, 2013
we will display this decadent nature captured by
contemporary paintings of Ukrainian artists in the former
mansion of another women’s admirer Alain Delon.
Exhibition “La Femme” will bring together 8 prominent
artists focused on the feminine image, and all the ways it
may be interpreted and communicated by their unique
vision.

We don’t want the artists to worry about how they
are going to participate in the exhibit, pay the
transportation, framing, printing or promoting. We need
your support to bring and expose their talent and introduce
a new type of art to the French audience.

In this beautiful mansion in the heart of Paris, we are expecting to receive about
500 visitors at the Vernissage and another 1000 over the course of the exposition.
