Project Details:
DELL PRINT: This project is the first of its kind to enable DELL to facilitate the financial transactions
between the vendor and the customers. It is supposed to be the ‘blue-print’ for the rest of the projects
under the DELL Financial services.
SeaCOLT: SeaCOLT connects to Oracle Siebel CRM and FlexNet databases in the background, while
providing a single point of entry to manage quotes, licensing and maintenance renewals, thereby
making lives easier for our sales force. In the process, it also addresses several key SIS business specific
requirements bringing improved efficiencies, visibility and consistency in the quotes-to-license-to-
invoice process; in effect a subset of the O2C (Opportunity to Cash) cycle.
• Environment and Language/tool: Siebel CRM, Microsoft Visual Studio
• Team size and role: 2, Test Lead, Design.

• Team size and role: 12, Requirements, Design and Component specs, System, E2E Testing
• Domain: Telecom
• Client: Orange
• Duration: Nov 4th
, 2011- till date
• Tools Used: SOAP UI (Web Services Testing tool), WINSCP
As a part of Service oriented Architecture test team, I was involved in Web service
Testing. The web services –composite, cross-composite and atomic services -are invoked by frontend
Channels to meet the client requirement. Composite services are combination of atomic service
belonging to the same domain and cross-composite are those which has services invoked from different
domain (billing, Payments, CRM, etc)
1) Web service testing of previously deployed reused services that are invoked by frontend channels
and cross composite services, as a part of regression testing.
2) Testing the newly deployed atomic services.
3) Testing the newly deployed cross-composite services.
4) E2E frontend channels testing.
5) Ensuring the services are invoked properly and debugging the point of failure –tracking the
atomic service where it failed.
Details (IPEX change e2e test team):
Project Responsibilities:
1) Leading the team at the onsite location (British Telecom, UK)
2) Attending the CA/CFT calls for the various scenarios in the IPEX change Releases.
3) Writing and executing the test cases.
4) Worked on the CRM system- One Seibel, FLOW and the Billing system- GENIUS and AURORA
as a part of Lead-to-Cash (L2C) journey.
5) Have exposure to various Trouble-to-Resolve (T2R) components like PACS, UII, NEO and PEW.
6) Presentation to the client as a part of transition activity.
Andes, Tech Mahindra:
Recent Responsibilities: Working as application designer for applications in BT global services.
1) Working in the Design Team for my current project.
2) Preparing the Closure feasibility report and the detailed design report for the application that were
under the four sub-platform of Plan and Build platform namely, Logical planning and Capacity
Management, Capacity planning, Physical Planning and Workflow management.
2. Wiki Experience: Was involved in the development and maintaining the wiki that had to be created
due to project needs. It was developed as a part of Collaboration activity and the need to have a
common platform to share information and knowledge among the team members.
Previous Project: PACS –CM
• Environment and Language/tool: Unix-Sun Solaris, C, C++, Shell Scripting
• Team size and role: 12, Requirements, Design and Component specs, Coding.
• Domain: Telecom
• Client: British Telecom
• Duration: Dec, 2007-Dec 2008
CM (Configuration Management) System, which configures the network system between Physical and
Network layers, gets the order & rooting details from the PACS system. Planning sub-system logically
plans the placement of SDH equipments and Assignment sub-system does the network routing for
provision of customer services.
CM has internal sub-system called Config Controller, which obtain the Customer Order details which
includes SNE (Sub Network Element) Id, Cards & TP details and Routing details from PACS and transform
the received data according to the standards followed by network elements. It passes this data on to the
domain managers or element managers to configure the circuits in order to fulfill the requirement. CM
works as the interface between the NMS-EMS.
Response of this request like success or failure messages from separate element Managers is handled by
the process and populated in specified tables and shown on GUI to the Users.
PACSWBC Support – Completed 3 months in PACSWBC Support dealing with both CM and non-CM
issues in IVVT.
My Responsibilities in PACS:
1. CM Build Migration from CM Synergy to Star Team
2. CM Build Automation
3. Worked on FSPNM Controller
4. Currently working in UMT team
Electronic Data Interchange Gateway (EDI), Infosys:
Description: EDI is a data migration product which is used for conversion from one format (X12) to a
client (vendor or Aetna) readable format. It acts as a communicating medium between vendors and
health insurance companies. Wrote the application design specification, component design
specification, program design specification and coding the pre-processor and post-processor
components. I also did the unit test specification framework for EDI. I am also involved in configuration
management audit, preparation of plan, and weekly business status of the entire project team.
Automated Clearing House (ACH), Cash-Tech Solutions:
• Environment: C++, Oracle, CORBA, Windows
• Team size and role: 3, Coding, Updating Database, Unit testing
• Domain: Finance and Banking
• Client: ABN- AMRO Bank
• Mar’06 – Jun ‘06
Description: ACH is used for cash management flow between a bank and its clients. The architecture
involved (1) client layer: for request and response processing (2) the Corba middleware layer: to
transform the client java objects into business objects (3) the application server layer: which accepted
the business objects and processed the request (4) the backend database layer (Oracle). I was involved
in server side coding in Corba, as well as in the application server layer and oracle SQL used for Oracle
specific database system preloads.
Page navigation, Colayer:
• Environment: C++, XML, Java script, Windows XP
• Team size and role: 1, Functional & Design Spec, Implementation, Unit testing
• Domain: Collaboration Software
• Client: Eli Lily, Germany
• Feb ’05 – Mar ‘06
Description: It is used for navigating web pages and management of web-browser specific components.
The product architecture involved (1) client side in java script embedded in HTML (2) server component
in C++ (3) and an XML database backend. An event (CO/VIEW/POST) based processing of elements
defined in XML backend database was used for requests. I was involved in (1) server side code in C++, (2)
client side code for any on-click event and (3) backend XML database operations.
Periodic Publish, Colayer:
• Environment: C++, XML, HTML, Java script, Windows XP
• Team size and role: 1, Functional & Design Spec, Implementation, Unit testing
• Domain: Collaboration software
• Client: EliLily, Germany; ESICM, Switzerland
• Dec ’05 – Jan ‘05
Description: This involved time-to-live attributes associated with browser specific components. An XML
backend processing of events (CO/CREA/PRE) to get the user-information for publishing components
was used. Role-based operations (security) were designed through server side functionality. A publish
functionality authorization for the admin only was granted by default. Validation of user-data in C++
server implementation and the server side code in C++ was done by me. The HTML -based browser
specific components for display based on server side event (CO/VIEW/POST) management was designed
and coded by me.
Statistical and Manageability features, Colayer:
• Environment: C++, XML, HTML, Java script, Windows XP
• Team size and role: 2, Functional Spec, Design, Implementation, Unit testing
• Domain: Collaboration software
• Client: EliLily, Germany; ESICM, Switzerland
• Oct ’05 – Nov ‘05
Description: This is used for information store and retrieval from the SESSTORE and SESSION XML
backend database. The validation functionality for on-click event (in Java Script) and HTML display
components design was done by me. Other responsibilities involved diagnostic analysis and
enhancements to products. Colayer is based on the concept of Collaboration and Co-Creation- enabling
“group communication”- a much more feature-rich communication methodology than traditional email.
