Maryam visited several organizations that help people with disabilities. She learned that laughter and attention can be more useful than just placing people with disabilities in institutions, though institutions are still needed. Most importantly, people with disabilities have the same rights as others, including freedom of choice over where they live. While some may need to live in special centers due to their condition, the choice should still be theirs. Society should be built on principles of equality, not stereotypes or prejudice. Cooperation is needed to address everyone's problems and allow all people to live happily together.

Summarizing what was the most impressing and motivating experiences I would like to mention visit to
ARAHM Organization, Network (Assosiation for the DP and handicaps) and “Graine de Cirque”. What I
learnt is that the laugh and attention are mostly more useful rather than just putting the handicaps into
specialized institutions, though the institutions are necessary to be built and worked on. On the other
hand it’s good to take in mind the DPs are like any other from us, they have the same rights and
freedoms, especially the freedom of choice. It means that they are free to choose either they want to
stay at home or at the special center. Naturally there are some situations when it’s impossible to have a
home care or it’s the mental disability and the handicap cannot understand what ‘s good what’s not for
him/her. But still the choice must be kept by them and world society should be built on principles of
equality not on the stereotypes and prejudices. Humanity needs to keep it’s eyes and hearts open, to
hear the problems of each other and to cooperate in order to live long and happily (ha-ha =D). Chox sag
