Could you draw information from a cross functional team, to produce commercially realistic tenders?

We are looking for an Engineer experienced in the Power Generation Sector with an in-depth
knowledge of the Tendering process for sub contract installation and manufacture.
If you have
 Substantial experience in the tendering process
 Previous experience within the Power Generation or Renewable Industries
 A strong grasp of the technical and commercial issues of contracting
 Managing a cross functional team for the compilation of technical tenders
 The freedom to travel periodically throughout the UK and Western Europe
 Fluent in English - Excellent Communication Skills, written and verbal.
This is a fantastic opportunity to help to shape the technical and commercial offering, and contracting
and project capture strategy to
 Understand customer requirements and communicating contract technical and commercial
requirements to senior management
 Work with the Commercial Manager on project capture
 Forming and leading a cross-functional team (Business Development, Commercial, Legal,
Engineering, Operations) to plan and prepare the submission of the tender
 Manage the budget assigned to the tender
 Prepare and passing the business and sector Risk Reviews
 Submit and present the technical offer to the customer
 Work with the Commercial Manager, Engineering and Legal functions to actively manage the
bid clarification process and resolve open issues
 Ensure a timely response to customer concerns
 Work with the Commercial Manager and Legal Departments in bid negotiation and close-out
