The increase in the significance of service orientation in system development is accelerating with an increase in demand for qualitative and cost-effective systems. Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) is one of the established structural designs used for developing and implementing flexible, reusable, rapid and low-cost service-oriented systems. The established testing and evaluation methods don’t work well for systems that are made-up of services (service-oriented system). As a result, several testing and evaluation metrics for service-oriented systems were proposed. However, these metrics were created based on preceding software development approaches that offer insufficient focus to service-oriented systems thereby lacking the efficiency to evaluate these systems. Furthermore, Lack of access to source code also frustrates classical mutation-testing approaches, which require seeding the code with errors. This paper discusses different testing and evaluation metrics available for SOS and proposed a theory-grounded framework for testing and evaluation of service-oriented systems with the aim of decreasing cost and increasing the quality of the SOS. Then, the proposed framework is validated theoretically to check its usability and applicability for testing and evaluation of SOS. The results show that the proposed framework is able to decrease cost and increasing the quality of the SOS.

A common criticism of the process group is they don’t follow their own advice – they don’t adopt the level of discipline required by CMMI in planning, tracking, measuring, and auditing their own improvement efforts – the same level of discipline that ask projects to demonstrate. With the publication of the CMMI for Services, there is now a powerful tool for measuring just how mature and capable a process group is. This presentation will look at applying the CMMI for Services model to the process group, treating their functions as a service provided to the organization. The new Services process areas provide an interesting insight into how a process group might function more effectively. Sample considerations: > Definitions - When looking at the process group as a service, how do your define the “service system”, “service agreement”, “service request”, “service incident”? > Service System Development (SSD) – How does a process group analyze, design, develop, integrate, verify, and validate their “service system” against defined requirements? > Service System Transition (SST) – How does a process group deploy new or significantly changed process assets while managing their effect on ongoing service delivery? > Strategic Service Management (STSM) – How does a process group align their services with strategic needs and plans? > Capacity and Availability Management (CAM) – How does a process group ensure effective performance and use of resources? > Incident Resolution and Prevention (IRP) – What is a process group “incident” and how are they resolved and prevented? > Service Continuity (SCON) – What does “continuity of services” mean, and what are considered “significant disruptions”?

This phenomenon is happened by the belief that lack of capturing user requirement. This is due to consider the business environment is always running normally. In fact, the development of the system needs a way to anticipate the business environment that unpredictable changes.Therefore, the phenomenon on the need for modeling services can able to respond to the changing needs of users still have a chancein this study. It explores modeling services to synergize SOA and BPM.Several previous studies generally use a business driven approach, technical partially driven to develop the service modeling. This leads to the question of how a service should be modeled so that it can be applied in different contexts and business processes also. It is support user needs in diversity and heterogeneous system environments. This Conditions occurs in corporate university. The case studies in this research is a Learning Management System (LMS) in Academic Enterprise System (EAS). The research stages are: (1) Analysis of Synergy in SOA and BPM, (2) Analysis of User Experience in LMS Academic Enterprise System (L-EAS), (3) Analysis of Modeling Framework, (4) Proposed Framework that aligning SOA and BPM. The result of this study is proposed system framework based on services to increase the flexibility of information systems at LMS Academic Enterprise System (L-EAS).
