The document discusses production companies, distributors, and credits. It explains that a production company raises funds and produces a film or other media product. A distributor is responsible for marketing and deciding how and when to release the product to audiences. The author would choose Film4 as the distributor because they distribute films from 20th Century Fox, which would help reach a wider audience. Opening credits typically include important crew members, while closing credits list everyone involved in the production. The document provides an example of credits used in the short film produced by the author's company, JRS Productions.

6. WHO IS THE DISTRIBUTOR?
The film distributor is solely responsible for the

The distributor must think of an effective method of
how to distribute the product so it gets to audience.
They must decide on a date of when they will
distribute it.

8. WHO WOULD DISTRIBUTE OUR FILM?
For my film, I would go to Film4. Film4 produces
and distributes films of their own as well as others.
Film4 distributes the films produced by 20th Century
Fox as they are both owned by Rupert Murdoch
which makes it easier for them to be distributed and
seen by a wider audience.
9. CREDITS
Credits on a film can be shown at the beginning
and the end of a film. Normally, opening credits
reveal the more important crew members of the
production.
Closing credits are much longer than the opening
credits as they include every crew member and
their role in the production.
For our production, we only included opening
credits as our film was a short film. We listed the
company name, director, camera person, editor,
sound person and cast.
