2. Hello, and welcome to Good Girls Go Bad: Angelina’s Interlude. If you haven’t read the other chapters of Good Girls Go Bad, you’ll probably have no idea what’s going on. So read them. This chapter is SHORT, and will focus on Angelina and Charlie’s first night together. The chapter is kinda like an extended ending of Ch. 3; it follows Angelina home after she left Melanie’s house. 3. Angelina left Melanie’s house as the sun started to set, and by the time she got home, it was dark. She walked up her porch steps and saw her mom, Nina, through the door, clutching a purse and talking on her phone.
4. Angelina entered the house. Nina looked up at the sound of the door opening, breathed a sigh of relief, and hung up her phone. “Angie, honey, thank God you’re here,” she said in her thick Spanish accent. “My date will be here any minute, and I need you to watch your brother until the babysitter comes.”
5. “Um, well, what time will the babysitter be here?” Angelina asked. “She should be here in about 15 minutes. Daniel’s up in his room, and-” They heard the sound of a car creeping into the driveway. “-and there’s my date. I gotta go, I’ll see you tomorrow, baby. Thank you!”
6. Angelina watched as her mother sauntered down the porch steps and out to the waiting car. Then she turned and went up the stairs to her brother’s room.
7. She walked in his room and saw him playing with his toys. “Hey, Danny. Mom just left, and she says the babysitter will be here in about 15 minutes. I’ll be upstairs if you need me.” “Yeah, ok.” “Alright…goodnight, Danny.” She walked out of his room and up the stairs to her attic bedroom.
8. She called Charlie and asked him to come over, like she had promised she would that afternoon. Then she sat down and looked around her bedroom. She really liked her bedroom. It was cool being so up high, and- “Hey, baby.” Charlie’s voice interrupted her thoughts.
9. She looked up and saw him grinning at her. She must have been sitting there thinking about her bedroom for a while. “Charlie,” she said, smiling softly, and rose to greet him.
10. He walked toward her and swept her up in his arms, planting a kiss on her lips. She giggled and they broke apart.
11. “I love you so much, Ang,” he said in a whisper. “I love you too,” she replied with a grin, and took his hand and led him toward the bed.
12. He dipped her down and kissed her, then picked her up and placed her gently on the bed.
13. Clothes were thrown on the floor, and Angelina and Charlie went from boyfriend and girlfriend, to lovers. *******
14. The two woke up to sunlight streaming through the window, in a blaze of blinding daylight. Charlie smiled to see Angelina sleeping across from him, and took her hand.
15. They slipped off the bed. “Good morning, love,” he said, and kissed her. “Good morning, love,” she parroted back, though she meant every word.
16. “I should probably go now,” he said. “Gotta get home and get ready for school.” “Yeah.” “I’ll see you there. I’ll save you a seat in homeroom,” he said. He kissed her one last time, and quietly slipped down the stairs. Angelina smiled and flopped down on her bed. *******
17. That’s all for the interlude! Thanks for reading, and any comments are welcome! Chapter 5 should be out soon. Oh, and in case Ch. 5 doesn’t make it out before Halloween… ------------------------------------------------
