4. Making Assumptions...
• We all make assumptions and there is nothing wrong
with that.
• However, we are only as good as our tools…
(experiences and knowledge)

5. Personal Preference
Does this work…? Does this work…? Does this work…? Does this work…?
How about this…? How about this…? How about this…? How about this…?
This looks good… This looks good… This looks good… This looks good…
That’s more like it!

10. Glasses, the quick fix!
Glasses do not make content ‘easier’ to read, they just make it bigger.
• Dyslexia, text in images and word patterns.
Glasses do not make navigation more intuitive / navigable…
• The visually impaired and the Blind remember where things are
and when things are not in their place they struggle.
Glasses do not adjust contrast levels
• Light blue on dark blue, colour blindness, etc.

11. There is way more to Accessibility
than glasses…
• Glasses are great for certain things but they are only useful for
correcting one condition at a time.
• If you like me have more than one condition or a condition that
is not correctable by glasses, what are you meant to do?

12. Web Accessibility is about understanding
your users in order to…
• Create and Present, clear, content that
is relevant and equally accessible to all.
• Create fluid, responsive designs that
make sense and can adjust to different
situations, devices, screen resolutions,
etc.

where we want to go.
