In today's marketing environment social marketing and viral marketing don't equal sales. Advertising doesn't equal sales and eye balls don't equal sales. You need to create multiple touch points in order to convert people into customers. Then you need to convert those customers into fans. Marketing has changed over the last 5 years and a lot of marketing agencies have been slow to act on it.
