Situated in Mtayleb, Lebanon, this residential building consists of two volumes overlooking a steep hill with impressive views of the surrounding areas. Mtayleb 4134 was designed in 2011 by Michel Abboud for SOMA Architects.

consists of two volumes overlooking a steep hill with impressive views of
the surrounding areas.
3. Responding to regional zoning regulations, the two volumes are sliced
and molded to not only conform to these regulations, but also to
maximize views, day lighting, and orientation.
4. The use of terracotta cladding and glass on the facades along with the
geometrical form transforms the interior into an enclosed yet
transparent volume.
