Kia ora my name is Hoki - Moana Houkamau.
I am passionate about Leadership in the class, at school and in our
community of Kaiti.
My main passion is to work with Maori and Pacifica tamariki and to
provide them with, culturally responsive learning programmes that will
help them reach their full potential.
I am particularly excited about being given the opportunity to apply for
the
National Aspiring Principals Programme for 2014
as I know one of the focuses of the programme is to look at the
leadership of colleagues in raising the achievement of students in school,
with a particular focus on Maori and Pacifica.
I would be very interested in the outcome of those findings.
