1. Although this tradition is
considered extinct, in the winter
evenings families, friends and
neighbours used to gather around
the fire with a community spirit in
an entertainment activity while the
women knitted until everybody felt
cold and sleepy.
2. From December 25th to January 6th people used
to gather to celebrate the birth of Jesus by
singing from door to door.
However, the people, in their poverty, enjoyed
not only to convey the message of the birth,
through singing, but also to get something to
eat and drink as they were poor. So when
singing from door to door they asked for food
to the richest farmers in the region. They sing
to get food till the end of January
