3. Don’t leave out buckets or vacumns/brooms, have it as empty as possible
4. Curb appeal is very important. It will draw in buyers driving by, ones looking online or the ones that are coming to see your home. Ensure the entrace is welcoming and clean. Depending on the season, shovel, mow and sweep everyday. Add urns , shrubs and plants that add colour and fall in line with the season. Power wash your house if it needs it, the cost is only your time and will make a huge impact. Decorate for the season Christmas, Thanksgiving or Easter. Paint your front door and hang a wreath on it and put out a welcome mat.
5. Update old floors and carpet. If you can't afford new carpet, get it professionally steam cleaned and there are many cheap floor options out there that cost .75 cents a foot that you can do yourself. You don't have to buy expensive items to make a difference.
6. Having a home stager come over for a consultation is a great asset you should use. We can point out areas of concern and help you with the process. Buyers today want move in ready and if it is not, they want to be compensated for it. If you can change it yourself for a lot less then the price drop, why not.
