Park cakes Bakery (Bolton)
Shift / Site Manager 2013 – Present
High paced bakery manufacturing of slab cake. Responsible for 65+ staff across site
from all departments. I was brought into the business to create a weekend shift, make
it operational, efficient plus fall in line with the business objectives and goals. This
was due to lack of capacity in the week. Currently hitting a pack rate of 86%. Gmp
audits green standard.
2. Stateside Foods
Business Unit Manager 2008 – 2013.
The second largest pizza manufacturing plant in the UK. I was responsible
for a shift of 70+ people. This is a high speed manufacturing plant with state
of the art technology. Plant is capable of making up to 400 units per minute
across three lines, Close team work and communication between all
departments is critical to keep supply and demand on track.

to realise the potential of its staff. As a consequence of this and my own ability to
effectively manage, I was steadily promoted from operative to production
manager over 100 staff, which involved high risk and low risk production areas.
