Fungicide Applications to Corn

Two distinct application timings:
Early season
 Between growth stages V4 and V7
 Stage determined by counting exposed leaf collars
 Same timing as with many herbicide applications

At tassel
 Between growth stages VT and R1
 From when the last branches of the tassel emerge
 Until brown silk


Early Season Application in Corn

 Get a head start on your yield bump. Adding an early treatment of
Stratego YLD to your corn delivers:
 Improved stalk strength
 Early season disease control
 Higher yield potential
 When preceding a tassel application, get even higher yield potential
than from a tassel spray alone.


Critical Opportunity for the Plant

 Corn plants between the V4 and V7 growth
stages are at a critical growth phase.
 Leaf and ear shoot initiation are almost
complete.
 The entire starch reserves from the seed have
now been consumed, leaving corn to pull in all
of its own nutrients and resources for the first
time.
 The crop is very susceptible to early season
environmental stresses and diseases.

Convenience in Applying
