Finalization Quarterly & Annual Accounts as per Insurance Regulatory and Development

Liaison with auditors on the presentation of annual report and the relevant disclosure
notes.

Ensuring compliance of Accounting Standards, IRDA Guideline, and other statutes. Handled

Fixation of accounting templates in accordance with changes in Business Policy / New

Supervising completion of Tax Audit / providing data support to Taxation department for

Process implementation for compliance of Service Tax / VAT related issues.
MIS and Analytics:
Budgeting and projected 5 year business plan.
Establishing strategic cost management systems / techniques for monitoring various direct
costs and overheads and achieving maximum cost control in operations.
Monthly review of key financial parameters and analyzing reasons deviation from annual
business plan.
Supervising the preparation of MIS reports to provide feedback to top management on
financial performance, viz. fund management, cost of fund, profitability, etc.
Systems Implementation:
Mapping business requirements and translating these requirements into functional
specifications and detailed test plans.

Since Apr’02 with Magma Group as General Manager Accounts – Heading the Core Accounting
Functions, reporting to CFO.
Magma Fincorp Limited is a listed NBFC having presence across the country, engaged in Retail Finance,
Lease, Insurance and other financial services with a disbursement volume of Rs. 8000 Crores.
In October 2013, Magma launched a General Insurance Co. – Magma HDI General Insurance Co. Ltd. a
joint venture between Magma Group and HDI-Gerling Industrie Versicherung AG Germany the first
General Insurance Company in Eastern India.
